Due to internal promotion and our growing team, Savanna  is currently seeking 2 experienced Field Welder to join our Maintenance team.

Point of Hire is Toowoomba.

To apply, you should have:

Fabrication Trade Certificate 3 as a minimum requirement Competent in MMAW, TIG, GMAW, and Flux core procedures Current C (car) class driver’s license

What you'll be doing:

Read engineering, schematic and mechanical diagrams, drawings or specifications to determine job requirements Inspect, service and repair rig equipment as needed to ensure reliable performance Complete fabrication or remedial welding to trade qualifications Provide effective support to rigs, camps, and the maintenance departments daily Use and operate all equipment in accordance with company and client policy and procedures Conduct all work in accordance with current legislative and industry specific requirements Keep abreast of changes in industry standards and regulations Work within the scope of your trade qualification
