The City of Cockburn is establishing a pool of suitableapplicants for Netball, Basketball, Volleyball and Futsal (Soccer)Umpires.
Appointments will be made on a casual basis. Applicants assessed as suitable but not offered immediate work will be placed in a casual pool, which will operate for 3 months from the date of the initial placement in the pool, from which further employment opportunities may be offered.Cockburn ARC

The Position
Team ARC is currently looking for experienced and motivatedNetball, Basketball, Volleyball and Futsal (Soccer) Umpires toensure our extensive sports program is of the highest standard andour members receive an exceptional customer experience at CockburnARC. We are seeking people who champion the City of Cockburn valuesand can demonstrate these in their work practises.
These positions are being offered on a casual basis and hours ofwork are primarily evenings. Your application will be kept on fileand you may be contacted for future employment opportunities.
About You:
You will be someone who has experience in umpiring sports andable to facilitate a welcoming, safe and inclusive competition forARC patrons and participants.
Professional, motivated and friendly disposition, able to relate to a wide array of people. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively manage conflict. Drive to deliver our service vision of “Outstanding Service People Talk about” Passionate about community engagement through sport, health and fitness. Ability to work well in a team environment. Available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, FridayQualifications:
Relevant umpiring accreditation in your chosen sport or relevant experience (Netball C Badge, Basketball Level 1 and/or Futsal/Soccer Level 4). Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment) Working With Children’s Check National Police Clearance (within 30 days) Australian Working Rights (within the application)If you are passionate about team sports, providing a safeenvironment for everyone and are determined to deliver exceptionalservice, then apply today
Pay Rate: $ per hour (including 25% casualloading).
