- Permanent Full-time: Monday to Friday 38 hours per week
- Not-for-profit salary packaging tax free benefits, increasing your take home pay
- SCHCADS Award: hourly rates ranging from $37.35 - 40.05 (dependent on experience)

Your Role
Join a passionate and dedicated team making a real difference in your local community. In this dynamic role, you’ll help create a safe and welcoming space that empowers our clients, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, client-centered services fostering a respectful and supportive environment every step of the way.
Responsibilities
- Be a compassionate first point of contact for clients at Pete’s Place, assisting with their daily needs and ensuring a warm, safe, and inclusive environment.
- Facilitate the entry and assessment process for new clients and support the daily operations of the site.
- Collaborate with case managers to deliver tailored support plans that respect and respond to each client’s unique needs.
- Maintain organised client records and ensure adherence to high standards of quality and trauma-informed care practices.
- Engage clients in activities, guide them through services, and advocate for their needs with external agencies.
You WIll Need:
- A heart for service, a calm demeanor, and the ability to offer non-judgmental, ethical support.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work within a collaborative team setting.
- Experience or qualifications in social services, with a focus on homelessness, mental health, or community work (Cert IV preferred or in progress).
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
