Great opportunity for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate with Mandarin language skills. It is essential that you are fluent in Mandarin, both written and verbal.

A leading provider of custom-engineered large scale mechanical equipment, this company design and implement innovative systems tailored to meet the specific needs of their clients, mostly in the agricultural sector. Known for their commitment to quality, reliability, and customer service, the company ensures that their solutions help optimise efficiency and productivity for their clients right across Australia. 
 
The Job: 

  • Participate in the design and development of mechanical systems and equipment for agricultural applications.
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates and project proposals, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Support the project management team in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
  • Liaise with the Chinese based engineering and production team to refine designs and ensure alignment with project specifications and client requirements.
  • Involvement in the commissioning process, including onsite testing and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices.


Skills & Requirements:

  • A recent university degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering practices.
  • Some proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing expertise in special purpose mechanical equipment. 
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required for commissioning and support activities.
