The Role

Are you a recent graduate with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering? Do you have a passion for hands-on work and a keen interest in facilities maintenance? If so, we want to hear from you

What We're Looking For:

Degree Qualification: Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering Hands-On Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for working with tools and equipment General Knowledge: Experience across facilities, maintenance and trades Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills SOP Adherence: Ability to ensure staff understand and operate to the required Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Regulation Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HACCP, OH&S regulations and cold storage principles Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using hazard and incident reporting systems Availability: Must be available on call after hours Advantageous Skills: Any exposure to refrigeration will be highly regarded

What You'll Do:

Regular Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance across a wide range of electrical and refrigerated machines Preventative Maintenance: Oversee repairs and manage preventative maintenance schedules/programs across plant and equipment in a temperature-controlled food storage environment Project Support: Support the site management team by facilitating capital works and major projects Contract Management: Ensure standard contract management processes are implemented and complied with Safety Initiatives: Assist with the implementation of initiatives to improve site safety, including conducting risk assessments Corrective Actions: Ensure corrective actions and investigations are assigned and completed by the due date Safety Audits: Coordinate safety audits and assist in the implementation of corrective actions where necessary
