About the role

We are seeking a senior lawyer to join our Real Estate practice to work in our Sydney office with property partners Samuel Brown and Jennifer McCosker and their team.  In particular, the team is looking to build out its coverage for capital transaction and development focused work.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and run your own matters with a high level of autonomy.  In addition to supporting Sam and Jennifer, there is the scope for you to build your own practice and carve out your niche in the group.

As part of a global firm, our Real Estate practice has the ability to service our clients' needs both nationally and internationally and we are able to benefit from the experience of our overseas offices that are at the forefront of some of the property industry's innovative developments.

What does the role involve?

  • Working closely with clients, other members of the team and other practice groups on a variety of interesting and complex matters
  • Assisting clients with their acquisitions and disposals of development sites and built form assets
  • Advising on urban renewal projects and property developments
  • Assisting clients with their investment and co-investment structuring
  • Supporting other teams within the firm on the property aspects of their major projects and transactions
  • Supporting the partner in building the practice by seeking out and acting on new client opportunities
  • Maximising the skills development of junior lawyers by supervising and coaching
  • Contributing to knowledge and learning resources.

About You
