Ideal Part Time Hours for Life Work Study Balance
This position is perfect for someone returning to the Education and Care workforce or studying toward a qualification for a career working with primary school age children.
This position is about Primary School Age Children ( 5 - 12 year olds)
- Provide quality care and supervision during before, after school and vacation care hours.
- Support learning through play and discovery, through developing, implementing, and interacting in fun and engaging activities.
- Foster positive relationships with children and young people, families, and within the school community.
- Understanding the importance of being an integral part of the school and local community, as the school community is intimate.
- Actively supervise and ensure the safety and well-being at all times.
Part Time Educator hours available in
Glenmore Park, After school care Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The roster will be 1 pm – 6 pm. 15 hours per week.
Springwood, Before School Care Monday to Friday 6:30 am - 8:45 am & After School Care Wednesday and Thursday between 2 pm to 5:30 pm on occasion a finish time will be 6:30 pm. 20 hours per week.
Our ideal candidate
- Is adaptable and possess excellent communication skills, naturally you build positive connections, and hold a desire to connect communities.
- You have proven experience working with school age children or in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- You understand programming play based learning experiences for children.
- You have experience as a RP or willing to attend training.
- Completion of Approved Child Protection Training or willing to obtain.
Requirement Valid Paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Vaccination (double Vaccinated).
Child Safety: Looking for an individual who understands, adheres to, and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (The Child Safe Standards). In your position, you will create a culture, adopt strategies, and take action to promote child well-being and prevent harm to children and young people.
