What will you do?

As a Visual Merchandising (VM) Specialist you will be working cross functionally to develop and prepare compelling merchandising strategies and communications to stores, and visual displays that align to the company merchandise strategy, brand direction and seasonal trends.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Strong organisation, planning, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to build and manage strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business and work collaboratively/cross-functionally
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently, with strong presentation and leadership capability
  • Understanding of the commerciality of Visual Merchandising

What are we looking for?

An end-end role that will see you develop visual merchandising plans, seasonal and monthly direction, future planning, and instore execution reviews and training, ensuring both a creative and commercial delivery of all VM product initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will have experience as follows:

  • A relevant Visual Merchandising degree or equivalent in-role experience
  • Between 2-4 years’ experience in a central or field Visual Merchandising role or retail role is desirable
  • Sound understanding of the retail industry
  • Well versed in and passionate about market trends, product and the customer experience
  • A strong working knowledge of computer design software for communications development: SketchUp, Microsoft suite, Adobe Creative Suite including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and the ability to read and develop store plans and flows
