In this role you’ll be focused on supporting Assisted Channels . Our ideal candidate will have had exposure with Contact Centres, including Complaints.

You’ll love rolling up your sleeves and thrive on strategic thinking while also diving into the nitty-gritty of implementation. Balancing the big picture with a keen eye for detail is essential. 

What you’ll do  

Support and advise COO teams in the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of non-financial risks including development and maintenance of the business risk profile and assessment of Risk in Change. Monitor and track non-financial risk items (issues, events, audit actions) and ensuring timely actioning aligned to policy and procedure. Support COO teams in development and monitoring of controls. Manage control testing activities to complete test plans - conducting both tests of control design and effectiveness, as needed. Provide guidance to teams on control design and test plan development and working with teams to identify control gaps and develop action plans to address. Report, analyse and provide insights on control activities to support COO business leaders and teams in effective identification and management of non-financial risks. Develop expertise in end-to-end products and processes supporting the COO business and acting as a subject matter expert on relevant compliance and regulatory obligations. Work with COO teams and 2nd Line of Defence teams (reporting to CRO) to drive. improvements to processes, tools and systems used in management of non-financial risk. Develop expertise in Bank’s Non-Financial Risk policies and standards to ensure compliance across the COO business.

What we’re looking for  

Experience in Banking/ Financial Services with a sound knowledge of banking products and risk management Someone who is comfortable being both strategic and hands on implementation. An understanding of key regulatory and compliance regimes associated with credit products and Retail Banking products such as Banking Code of Practice, Privacy, RG271, Consumer Credit Code, Know Your Customer (KYC) etc. A passion for learning and developing deep expertise, problem solving and a pragmatic and commercial approach. A reputation for adding value across a breadth of teams and stakeholders at different levels and a love of a good challenge. Action orientation and passion for getting things done and cutting through bureaucracy with a pragmatic approach.
