ABOUT THE ROLE:

Role Overview: As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, staff management, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for the guests. You will lead a team of skilled culinary professionals and work closely with management to maintain the high standards of cuisine and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative and seasonal menus that reflect the venues culinary vision.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Control food costs and optimise kitchen operations for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
