Job Description
The People & Culture Business Partner is responsible for partnering with key business leaders, providing strategic and operational advice and supporting employees and management. This will Include day-to-day HR activities such as employee relations, performance management, training, recruitment and general HR advice. The People & Culture Business Partner will proactively work to identify any potential HR requirements within their client group as well as working collaboratively with the Group Head of People & Culture and other members of the People & Culture team to develop and implement HR projects and build the capability of the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
HR generalist responsibilities combined with subject matter expertise in either Remuneration & Benefits or Learning & Development.
Confidently provide expert HR advice and assistance to employees and management on a full range of issues and practices, including salary benchmarking, Employee Relations and engagement activities.
Advise and coach management on employment related matters in accordance with legislation, HR policies and procedures and appropriate industrial instruments.
Facilitate performance management and grievance issues in accordance with company policy and legislative requirements.
Remain up-to-date with employment legislation and HR/IR industry trends.
Lead a range of HR projects; and
Any other duties as directed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Behavioural Science, Law or related field.
- 7 - 10 years’ experience as a HR Business Partner in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Telco and/or Tech sector experience preferred but not essential.
- A thorough understanding and technical expertise in either Remuneration & Benefits or Learning and Development.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong influencing and relationship building skills with the ability to adapt communication style for various audiences.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Agile problem-solving skills.
