Outage Scheduler

About The Role
Are you ready to take control of your career? We're currently seeking an Outage Scheduler to join our team.

Based in the Snowy Valleys, you will develop, implement, document, and manage a Schedule Management process for Major Mechanical Overhauls, ensuring all processes, tools, templates, and plans are in place. You will develop detailed, resource-loaded master schedules in MS Project, collaborating with internal and contractor work leads, and monitor progress while highlighting risks.

The role offers flexibility for local residents or DIDO from Sydney or Melbourne. After some initial time on-site to understand the role, there may be an opportunity for flexible work-from-home options. This role is perfect for someone skilled in MS Project with experience in managing complex schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, document, and manage a Schedule Management process for Hydro Major Overhauls.
• Create detailed and resource-loaded master schedules in MS Project in collaboration with internal and contractor teams.
• Complete daily schedule updates and modifications, applying appropriate change control.
• Monitor schedule critical paths, earned value, milestones, and risks against the baseline.
• Identify schedule improvement opportunities in collaboration with the leadership team.
• Provide accurate and timely reports to support the monitoring and management of the baseline schedule.
• Highlight risks that may lead to schedule overruns and propose mitigation strategies.

About You
To be successful, you will need experience in the following:

• Experience as a Scheduler, preferably within hydro or energy industries.
• Proficiency in MS Project for schedule management.
• Experience with MIMS Ellipse System is preferred but not essential.
• Strong ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including contractor and internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and experience with monitoring project baselines, risks, and earned value.
• You must have Australian Working Rights for this role.
