About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lending Analyst to join our Parramatta team, supporting our Sales Managers with preparation of and submission of residential home loan applications for new and existing customers.
Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Assistance with existing portfolio management and future sales opportunities
  • Maintaining a very high culture of professionalism and commitment to our customers
  • Completing servicing assessments, ordering bank valuations, assisting with pricing requests, and reviewing client documentation to ensure alignment with bank policy
  • Monitoring the process of the home loan journey from submission to all the way through to settlement
  • Liasing with the credit team to discuss complex lending scenarios

About you

This role requires a general understanding of Australian banking practices and lending processes, ability to critically analyse financial statements, cash flow and other complex financial reports, provide accurate assessments and prepare credit proposals in a timely manner, excellent customer service skills and the ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external teams.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Possess strong attention to detail and task completion;
  • Finance or Business related degree or previous lending experience is highly regarded
  • Excellent presentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • The ability to prioritise competing deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
