Job Description

This role requires a strong blend of leadership, sales acumen, customer service focus, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to motivate and guide their team to achieve sales targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service and ensuring the smooth running of the Melbourne branch.

Leadership and Sales:

  • Leads and manages the Melbourne team's day-to-day operations.
  • Achieves regional sales targets by acquiring new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Manages the local branch's profit and loss (P&L) statement.
  • Develop the capabilities of the sales office team to enable the achievement of agreed goals

Customer Service and Reputation:

  • Demonstrates the company customer service vision and values to internal and external customers to maintain and improve the brand reputation in the Melbourne market
  • Commitment to consistent delivery of quality product and service to customers to ensure continue preferred supplier status

Operations and Compliance:

  • Oversees all operational aspects of the Melbourne office, ensuring they are aligned with company policies.
  • Ensures the office complies with all local and regional regulations.
  • Maintains clear and timely communication between the Melbourne office and the head office.

Qualifications

  • Staff supervision experience, bility to lead and motivate subordinates and lead by example.
  • Previous Sales Management Experience.
  • B.S. Mechanical Engineering or A-Dip Mech Eng with HVAC background/experience/ Trade background preferred. 
  • AIRAH or ASHRAE certifications or registrations a plus.
  • Mathematical and reasoning skills to Engineering level.
  • High degree of technical aptitude.
  • Technical sales experience, 5 years plus.
