Your role
As an estara Support Worker, you will work with our clients in their homes and the community to enable their utmost independence and improve their quality of life, making a real impact across the Riverland community.
Day-to-day, you will support clients living with all disabilities to reach their goals, build their capacity, and complete daily living activities. Responsibilities include personal and complex care, household task support, recreational and community access assistance, plus more. Committed to delivering person-centred and diverse support to those living with all disabilities in their home environment Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to communicate compassionately with a diverse range of people Ability to work autonomously and respond with empathy in stressful situations Problem-solving and time management skills Willingness to perform shift work, including sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays (24/7 roster) Qualifications in Individualised Support or other relevant discipline(s) Demonstrated experience working with people living with disabilities, including manual handling and personal care tasks Knowledge of NDIS restrictive practices legislation and positive behaviour support Special conditions
Full working rights in Australia Current South Australian drivers' licence and a reliable vehicle DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check Provide First Aid certification (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011) Apply or enquire now
