We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Auslan Disability Support Worker at Advantage Healthcare Support.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our clients to develop personalized care plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have strong Auslan skills and be able to communicate effectively with deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
- You will work Monday to Friday 7am-10am, and must be located within the Northern Beaches or nearby.
- Providing individualized support to our clients, including assistance with daily living activities and personal care.
- Assisting clients to participate in community activities and pursue their interests.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Auslan skills and experience working with deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or another relevant qualification, or plans to obtain this in the future.
- First Aid and CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Card, and current Driver License with Comprehensive Car Insurance.
