Play a key role in shaping and delivering high-impact data and AI strategies for clients across Queensland.

We are now expanding our Information & Analytics Practice with a Principal Consultant to help guide our clients and deliver Data Strategy, Architecture, Governance, Analytics and Ai strategic consulting services. This is an opportunity to influence the future of information management & analytics working with our extensive government and corporate customer base in Queensland.

About the role

As Principal Consultant - Information & Analytics you will:

• Lead strategic consulting services, from initial assessments to comprehensive planning and execution of major initiatives
• Identify and shape opportunities through early-stage client conversations, bringing clarity and structure to complex problems
• Drive the sales cycle with the Practice Manager, leading opportunity qualification, proposal development, project estimation and scoping and pricing
• Contribute to capability uplift across our team by mentoring others, evolving our intellectual property, demonstrating thought leadership and staying across trends in AI/ML and data governance
• Engage confidently with senior stakeholders and executives to shape and influence data-driven transformation agendas

About You

You'll bring a mix of delivery leadership, strategic thinking, and commercial savvy – with the confidence to step into advisory conversations and guide client direction.

We're looking for someone with:

• Proven experience in data strategy, information architecture, governance, and analytics across complex organisations
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and practical application, including how to identify and shape ML use cases that drive business value
• Familiarity with Microsoft's data stack (Azure, Purview, Power BI, Fabric), and modern governance tooling
• A background in shaping and delivering strategic engagements, including business cases, operating models, governance frameworks, or technology enablement
• The ability to lead engagements and proposals, working closely with account teams, architects, and delivery leads
• A collaborative, pragmatic style, able to adapt to the needs of both delivery and sales contexts
