Job Opportunity: Disability Support Worker (Temporary)

Location: Buff Points
Position Type: Temporary, Part-Time (5 days a week, 2 hours per day)
Working Hours: 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Pay: Up to $45 per hour (dependent on experience)

Are you a compassionate and caring individual with experience working with children? We are looking for a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Buff Points on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be someone who is understanding, patient, and passionate about supporting children with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to children with disabilities.

  • Assist with daily activities, ensuring the child's safety, comfort, and well-being.

  • Offer emotional and practical support to help the child engage in activities.

  • Work closely with families to ensure that the child's needs are being met.

  • Follow care plans and provide appropriate feedback to the care team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, especially those with disabilities.

  • Valid Working with Children Check .

  • Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children with disabilities.

Pay Details:

  • Competitive hourly rate of up to $45 per hour , depending on experience.
