Job summary:

Sporting Car Club of SA is seeking an experienced Casual Canteen Manager to oversee and operate the Collingrove Hillclimb Canteen during scheduled events. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a passion for food and customer service to provide high-quality meals and beverages to competitors, spectators, and officials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a varied, healthy menu compliant with the Food Standards Act

  • Serve quality hot food and drinks

  • Ensure workplace health and safety (WH&S ) and food safety standards are adhered to

  • Manage canteen operations, staffing, and workflow of the canteen

  • Stock control and ordering

  • Operate during event hours (7:30 am - 3:30/4:00 pm) Mainly once a month on a Sunday

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in canteen, café or similar.

  • Certified Food Safety Supervisor qualification

  • Ability to meet safety standards and deliver exceptional customer service
