Stores Operations Manager

About This Role
">The position of Stores Person is available in our Administration Team. As a key member, you will be responsible for supervising prisoners working within the prison canteen, receiving and recording prison canteen stock, liaising with suppliers to maintain canteen stock levels, and recording prisoner purchases.
">- Process orders for special buy items such as CDs, clothing, and electronics, and manage inventory and stock control for special buys.
- Respond to prisoner queries submitted electronically regarding account balances, cheques, canteen orders, phone numbers, and money orders.
- Process incoming and outgoing prisoner mail in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Respond to telephone and administration office reception enquiries.
- Maintain and record prisoner transactions and other records.
- Order and receive goods and maintain credit card transactions and records.
Key Responsibilities
">You will assist in various areas including the Prison Canteen, where you will supervise prisoners working within our canteen, receive and record prison canteen stock, and liaise with suppliers to maintain canteen stock levels. You will also be involved in the Prison Special Buys area, where you will process orders for special buy items and manage inventory and stock control.
">In addition to these tasks, you will be responsible for responding to prisoner queries, processing incoming and outgoing prisoner mail, and maintaining and recording prisoner transactions and other records.
">You will also work in the Reception area, responding to telephone and administration office reception enquiries, and in the Purchasing area, ordering and receiving goods and maintaining credit card transactions and records.

">We are seeking someone who is physically fit to lift and carry items, willing to work directly with groups of prisoners in our canteen and special buys areas, and has a current Australian driver's license.
