Role Overview

We are seeking a Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Albany Creek Retirement Village. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality daily care services for residents, focusing on promoting their independence and well-being.

This is a casual position assisting our team with filling shifts, requiring PM and Night Duty shift availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team providing safe and effective daily personal care, tailored to the resident's care needs in line with their current care plans.
  • Ensure all residents receive kind, caring and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence.
  • Provide assistance to the residents and community with tasks including medical & personal support, domestic cleaning and general admin duties.
  • Supporting residents with recreational and social activities.
  • Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required).
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (required).
  • Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you).
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up to date (required).
