Village Care Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Village Care Specialist to join our established team at Albany Creek Retirement Village. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the village is safe and well-maintained. Your primary focus will be on attending to various maintenance requests, carrying out preventative maintenance tasks, and liaising with your fellow maintenance team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.

This is a part-time opportunity working Tuesday-Friday 8am-4pm. We offer competitive pay rates, all systems training and equipment, employee referral programs, discounts to health insurance and retail partners, and opportunities for further career progression.

Responsibilities
- Attend to various maintenance requests around the village
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks such as pool checks, high-pressure cleaning, and smoke alarm checks
- Liaise with your fellow maintenance team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard
- Use our system app to log, track, and record the progress of jobs completed

Requirements
- A genuine interest in learning new skills and working outdoors
- Skilled or experienced in domestic repair or handyperson tasks
- Automatic driver's licence
- Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Current Police Check certificate
