We encourage people with diverse backgrounds to apply for this role.The Opportunity:Based at Mt Thorley NSW, the Key Account Manager fosters pivotal relationships with Komatsu's key account customers within the mining industry.
In this role you will play a crucial part in leveraging our parts and service business to provide best outcomes for our customers' success, while also championing Komatsu's products and services thereby ensuring sustained sales growth.
This role is offered Full-Time Monday - Friday and requires frequent travel to sites within the NSW region.Location:Located at our Komatsu Branch in Mt Thorley, NSW.Remuneration:Competitive salary + Super + Bonus + Car + Phone and Laptop.Key Accountabilities include:Ensuring Key Clients' needs and requests are met through:Building and maintaining strong business relationships with key stakeholders of customer sites.Building sales cycles and funnels to develop call schedules and regular catchups to review Komatsu's deliverables.Developing and implementing standardized processes across sites.Developing and implementing sales strategies to maintain sales targets and growth.Assisting in implementing strategies to improve and maintain machine availability.Developing and implementing CI activities to meet customer's goals.Attending or chairing both internal and external meetings, ensuring allocations of responsibility and deadlines are clearly stated and agreed upon.Compiling monthly reports for aftermarket division managers on budget performance, warranty, DIFOT, machine performance.Managing issue escalations and customer concerns utilizing a same-day approach with urgent matters.Komatsu benefits:Families Policy: 16 weeks of paid primary carer parental leave, 4 weeks of secondary carer leave, plus many more family-friendly benefits.Financial: Company funded Income Protection Insurance.Career: Recognition, awards, flexibility, further education studies and internal career development.Health: Corporate discount with Bupa, Total Wellbeing Solution with Telus Health.Travel: Discounts with Avis, Qantas, Crown, IHG and travel agents.Yearly Bonus: Potential to receive a yearly bonus.Referral Program: $3000 referral payment for referring a successful new employee to Komatsu.What we are looking for:Proven track record in Sales / Account Management positions ideally within Heavy Machinery / Manufacturing industries.Must have the ability to identify business opportunities and build effective strategies to capture opportunities.Ability to liaise with senior leadership team and key client organizations in a professional manner.Ability to understand systems and business processes and provide recommendations.Experience in reporting and managing financial statements that measure sales, profits, labor expenses, etc.Leadership / Management experience with the ability to delegate tasks and mentor more junior team members.Strong negotiation and closing skills.A self-motivated individual with a drive to achieve and exceed sales budgets and targets.Must be proficient with MS Office suite.About the companyKomatsu Australia, New and Used Equipment, Digger, Bulldozer, Earthmoving Trucks, Mining Machine Hire, Rental, Parts, Service, Sales - Sydney, Brisbane, Perth.
