Junior Chef
About the Role
- Predominantly daytime café/kitchen role (no nights
- excluding occasional catering gigs)
- Work across a fast-paced café and takeaway environment
- Be trusted to run the kitchen independently at times
- Work alongside a young, energetic team
- Opportunity to grow as the business expands 🔥 What You’ll Be Doing
- Running the kitchen day-to-day (with support from Head Chef & management)
- Food prep and service execution to a high standard
- Assisting with ordering, stock control and minimising waste
- Training and supporting apprentice/junior kitchen staff
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen
- Working closely with front-of-house to deliver great service ✅ What We’re Looking For
- Qualified chef (or close to finishing)
- 1–5 years experience in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Strong communication and team mindset
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
