As the Head of Participants, you will be responsible for all aspects regarding our participants. Overseeing, monitoring and actively assisting all participants from their initial entry into our company, to their departure from our company.
You should also be able to work effectively with people at all levels within the organization, including executives, managers, and employees. This role is one that requires an individual to be both detail-oriented and strategic. You will be working directly under the Senior Operations Manager, managing a group of 28 participants.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Interact with participants and build relationships with them while ensuring their needs are being met.
- Keep records and documentation of participant interactions for training purposes
- Create care plans to address participants support needs
- Liaise with NDIA representatives, LAC's and partner organisations and other stakeholders of each participant
- Actively seeking to resolve any participant concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behaviour
- Report any concerns to management: WHS, Participants, Staff
- Role modelling behaviour that is expected of staff
- To answer general questions, from participants, and to filter more important questions to management
- Help assist the onboarding and orientation of new participants within the organization
- Assist with the coordinating a team of colleagues to ensure they consistently deliver outstanding service
- Assist with ensuring participant support service standards remain high and continually looking for ways to improve
- Update team chat with relevant information about participants
- Suggest and organize participant activities
- Ensuring that all applicable employment laws and company polices, and procedures are being followed, including those pertaining to discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment
- Assist with the oversight of day-to-day operations, which may include:
- Medication monitoring
- Refilling up medications
- Medication stock take
- Stakeholders' meetings
- Participant private inspections
- To act as a tour guide when visitors come onsite, for example any stakeholders that have meetings on site with participants, support coordinators, psychologist etc.

- Computer literacy
- Calm, polite, and professional behaviour
- Reliable and self-motivated
- An understanding of community networks and relevant legislation, such as the NDIS.
**Requirements**:
- Police check completed within the last 6 months
- Blue Card
- Australian driver's licence
- Roadworthy vehicle with insurance
- Right to work within Australia Australian or New Zealand citizenship or relevant working visa documentation
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $1,864.80 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Public holidays
