We are currently seeking a Test and Evaluation Lead to join our team on a permanent basis. A strong Defence background and NV1 Security Clearance is essential as well as a positive attitude and the flexibility to take on tasks that may be outside of your job description.

The T&E Lead is accountable to the Systems Engineering Lead and is responsible for the planning, development and execution of Commonwealth T&E activities of the Mission Systems and Support Systems and maintaining T&E practices and procedures and their compliance with department, regulatory and legislated requirements.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Lead the T&E program
- Conduct T&E planning, contributing to an integrated schedule of Systems Team activities, across the T&E lifecycle including T&E schedules, Integrated Process Team deliverables, T&E reports, and test plans.
- Lead Engineering Support activities in relation to the Commonwealth T&E program
- Undertake activities and tasks relating to verification and validation and testing
- Build and sustain working relationships with the Prime System Engineers and the Prime T&E Manager, Commonwealth Systems Engineers, and other Department of Defence stakeholders.
- Coordinate the evaluation of Prime V&V deliverables
- Coordinate and/or evaluate the testability of system and subsystem functional specifications with support from domain leads.
- Maintain the Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and the Commonwealth V&V Plan (CoA V&VP).
- Ensure the safety and security of system level products and associated activities.

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Tertiary qualifications in an engineering field or related technical discipline.
- Must hold an active Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1).
- At least 10+ years of experience covering Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, and Hardware Engineering with at least 5+ Years exposure to T&E in a Defence environment.
- Superior understanding of Defence T&E Policies.
- Demonstrated skills and experience across multiple disciplines (including Systems, Software, Hardware, etc.) applicable to HF/OTHR systems.
