**About this role**:
Join one of Australia's most celebrated Architecture firms as the new Financial Analyst based in their Sydney studio.

As part of the wider National Financial Team, your will be responsible for liaising directly with the architecture project teams and office leadership to ensure projects run profitability and efficiently.

This role will suit an experienced and motivated individual ready to develop and implement effective process and business improvements.

**Key responsibilities**
- Work with Studio Leadership and project teams to ensure project financial performance is well understood
- Liaise with project leaders to determine billing amounts and to issue monthly invoice
- Assist in debt collection activities to have invoices paid
- Assist in preparing and updating revenue forecasts
- Review timesheets and encourage completion
- Administer project work breakdown structures to facilitate costs collection and recovery
- Undertake ad-hoc project analysis and reporting

**Skills and experience**
- Previous experience in a similar finance based role
- A familiarity, confidence and skill with numbers, and a desire to get them right
- Outgoing and with good interpersonal communication skills. Able to explain numbers to those less familiar with financial concepts
- Motivated, proactive, well organised and with excellent attention to detail. Able to priorities activities in a fluid environment.
- Collaborative attitude but also able to work autonomously under pressure and to deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Vantagepoint is not required but would be an advantage
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience as user of a BI tool. Knowledge of Tableau is not required but would be an advantage
