ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Sales Director ANZ, the role is responsible for leading the development and execution of the sales and channel strategy to achieve wholesale and retail sales targets for an assigned territory / key accounts on behalf of the Prestige Brands ANZ.
The role is responsible for Department Store and Specialist account management in Victoria, to ensure profitable, sustainable sales growth and business development for Prestige Brands Australia Pty Ltd.
A key ambassador for the company for their territory, this role plays a vital role in coaching and developing the in-store sales team to execute best-in-class customer experience, while delivering budgeted retail and wholesale sales and effectively representing the portfolio in all aspects of daily sales operations.
This is permanent part-time role (30 hours/week).
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
Effectively manage all key accounts across all channels in the territory to deliver wholesale and retail sales targets, customer experience and ensure sales growth is consistently achieved.
Manage seasonal and annual retail sales activities in Department Stores by setting clear objectives to achieve brand rankings and market share objectives, by stores in the territory.
Execute key brand objectives & retail targets by retailer, with focus on growing retail excellence doors in the territory.
Ensure rosters are prepared and submitted according to the Department Store cycles (fortnightly) and optimize talent investment / ROI.
Develop, maintain, and nurture long-lasting partnerships with key stores, by maintaining a regular call cycle, regular visits and spot checks.
Pro-actively prospect new business in the Independents channel.
Negotiates additional promotional and eventing floor space to maximise brand awareness, competitive advantage and retail sales potentialisation.
Recruit, develop and retain high performing BA team, optimizing productivity, customer experience and return on salaries investment.
Partners with Marketing Director to facilitate and execute approved corporate pop-up event strategies or in-center events.
Proactively plans ahead, anticipates retail cycles, trends, opportunities.
Completes weekly & monthly sales reporting and data analysis requirements. Proactively provides feedback to Sales Director ANZ.
ABOUT YOU
4-6 years Sales Manager experience (preferably Beauty Industry in Australia).
University degree desirable.
Knowledge of wholesale & retail customer segments within the Beauty Industry.
Multi-site retail & team management experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in delivering excellent customer service.
Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to manage, motivate, and coach teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Including listening skills.
Technically savvy.
Innovative thinker with a best practice approach to understanding business, including the ability to analyse the business and identify new functional growth opportunities.
Strong relationship building/ Interpersonal skills and skilled in negotiations.
Well-organized resulting in the ability to priorities and manage multiple tasks.
Initiative taker who excels in collaborative work and thinking and holds themselves accountable for meeting deadlines and deliverables.
Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment while being adaptable to change.
Passionate about the Beauty Industry and the Prestige Business.
Able to travel internationally and domestically as required by the Company.
Is a strong brand ambassador, is articulate and well presented.
