Finance Officer role available now in Brisbane CBD - attractive rate

**Your new company**

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an A04 Finance Officer to join this leading QLD Government department. Based in Brisbane's CBD, this temporary role will commence ASAP for approximately 6-months.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will perform a wide variety of duties. You will be responsible for the following:

- Setting up new suppliers and supplier maintenance
- Processing of invoices
- Prepare payment runs
- Liaising with suppliers
- Reconciling accounts

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

- Previous experience working in an end-to-end Accounts Payable role
- Experience with large ERP
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with strong rapport-building skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Available to commence on short notice
