Joondalup Health Campus, (JHC) is a 722-bed facility owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care. Located in Perth's northern suburbs, the 80 bed Urban District Emergency Department provides high quality health care to over 90,000 patients/year, including 25-30% of Paediatrics presentations.

Joondalup Emergency Department offers an opportunity for excellent work/life balance with 7 days off written into the ED registrar roster every 6 weeks.

**About the Role**:

- Supportive and enthusiastic consultants, with a FACEM presence in ED for 16 hours+ per day
- Compassionate and friendly nursing staff with great relationships with the ED medical team. (JHC has been rated 'A' for culture and morale by the AMA WA 5 years in a row.)
- 24 months of ACEM-accredited advanced training (urban district) and paediatric logbook
- Access to multiple rotations including critical care, anesthetics, paediatrics, general medicine.
- Active education programs with up to five hours of protected teaching time per week, including ED registrar CME and WBA sessions
- Access to ASUM supervisors for completion of ultrasound logbooks
- Multiple courses run by JHC FACEMS - JUST ultrasound course, ACUTE emergency course, JHC OSCE course

**About You - desirable criteria**:

- Recent experience in Emergency Medicine
- Junior registrars PGYE 3+ will be considered
- ACEM trainee desirable
- Well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Strong commitment to high quality patient care
- Demonstrated commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values
- Current AHPRA registration or eligibility via competent authority pathway (UK, Canada, USA, NZ, Ireland)
