**About the facility**
- Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

**About the role**
- The role of the Orthoptist is to assist the Ophthalmology Outpatient team to provide assessment and care to patients referred to the service. Delivering patient care consistent with the values of Barwon Health.
- Duties include but are not limited to.
- Patient assessment
- Development of care plan
- Provision of patient education/information
