The Population Health portfolio is responsible for the design, development, implementation, andevaluation of population health strategies and programs across Victoria.Reporting to the Health Promotion Lead, this position presents a valuable opportunity to create a meaningful contribution to public health by applying data-driven research to support the design, delivery, and evaluation of impactful oral health promotion programs across the state.
Key programs include Oral Cancer Screening and Prevention Program,Smiles 4 Miles, Healthy Families Healthy Smiles, and other priority projects, such as the Early Years Model for Oral Health and Homelessness project.A bit about you:Relevant Qualifications: You hold a tertiary qualification in public health, health promotion, project management, or a related field that gives you the knowledge to hit the ground running.Project and Research Experience: You bring demonstrated experience in supporting or leading public health or research projects, and you're confident analyzing data and writing clear, insightful reports.Strong Communication Skills: You communicate effectively with impact across all levels within the organisation, ensuring alignment and clarity in fast-paced, results-driven settings.Technical Proficiency: You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the capacity to quickly adapt to new software and digital systems essential for effective project management and data analysis.Organisational and Time Management: You excel at working autonomously while effectively managing multiple tasks and competing priorities within defined deadlines, ensuring the successful delivery of project objectives.What's in it for you?
