About the role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Disability Support Worker to provide community access, personal care and look after the health and well-being of our client through the provision of high quality care.

You will be responsible for providing disability support to our clients. This includes
- Providing Personal care and Community Access
- working with individually or team of support workers as per roster provide daily living support
- Meal preparations including diet for clients with Dysphagia
- Arranging for household supplies, ensuring the house is kept clean and tidy, responding to hazards, and reporting.
- Community access for clients
- Experience with Mental Health supports
- Experience with Manual Handling
- Showering, bathing, Hoist, meal preparation, cleaning
- Experience in supporting clients with Cerebral Palsy is an advantage

Essential requirements:

- Demonstrated evidence as an experienced disability support worker supporting clients
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Police Check
- Current Working with Children's Check for paid employment
- Current Drivers Licence and own car
- In accordance with the NSW Public Health Order, mandatory vaccination will be required for this position. Where applicable, evidence will be requested at probity check stage.
