About the role:
We are seeking an
experienced Accounts Payable Manager
to join our head office team based
in Alexandria
. You will be reporting to the National Shared Service Manager and will be responsible for
managing a team of Accounts Payable officers located offshore
.
As our
Accounts Payable Manager,
you will be liaising with
both internal and external
stakeholders whilst
forging strong relationships
as you oversee
the processing of invoices,
updating
creditor records, paying outstanding invoices, producing creditor reports,
and
reconciling accounts
. Other key responsibilities include processing credit card and employee expenses, month-end activities and the general ledger

Key Accountabilities:
Mentor, coach and support your team members
Build relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external
Processing of invoices
Updating creditor records,
Producing creditor reports and reconciling accounts
What we are looking for:
Experience managing a team
of accounts payable officers
Diploma or Degree qualifications (or working towards) in Finance / Accounting would be desirable.
Exposure to using ERP systems & spreadsheets -
SAP highly regarded
Intermediate to Advanced Excel (knowledge of pivot tables, vlookups etc.)
High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers is essential
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
