We are seeking an exceptional academic to enhance research excellence and contribute to high-quality teaching outcomes in the field of Architecture.
Job Description:
The appointee will be a world-leading researcher with an international profile and reputation, based at Camperdown Campus, close to parks, public transport hubs and shopping districts. The Professor of Architecture will have an outstanding record of research in architecture, demonstrated by high-impact research outcomes.
They will also have a significant record of successfully obtaining competitive grants
A demonstrated track record of high-level service to and collaboration with professional practice, industry, institutional and governmental stakeholders most relevant to their area/s of expertise
About the role:
The successful candidate will provide thought leadership within the discipline, community, and professional, commercial and industrial sectors. They will also lead effective collaborations and strategic initiatives to deliver outcomes in research, development, commercialisation, and policy improvement.

An outstanding record in research demonstrated by high-impact research outcomes
A significant record of successfully obtaining competitive grants
A demonstrated track record of high-level service to and collaboration with professional practice, industry, institutional and governmental stakeholders most relevant to their area/s of expertise
To be considered for this position, you must have a PhD in Architecture or a related field and extensive experience as a senior academic leader. You must also have a strong interest in research-led teaching in architecture and a proven ability to attract and supervise outstanding postgraduate research students and professional research staff.
