Leadership Role for Population Health Expertise

The position requires a senior academic leader to oversee the strategic and operational management of the School of Population Health.

This role will involve developing and implementing innovative teaching, learning, and research programs within the School and across the Faculty.

The successful candidate will provide leadership for the School, manage teaching and research quality, and lead a team with direct reports including academic staff and the School Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for the School's teaching, learning, and research programs
  • Support the Faculty Dean in developing and implementing innovative teaching, learning, and research initiatives
  • Align and integrate the School's teaching and research with the Faculty and partners
  • Manage teaching and research quality and impact within the School
  • Lead a team with direct reports including academic staff and the School Manager
Requirements
  • A PhD in a relevant discipline area and an outstanding record in research
  • A track record of outstanding achievement and leadership in a managerial role
  • A distinguished record of academic excellence in teaching and learning
  • Strong potential for innovation in education and program development
  • Experience engaging with key stakeholders in the field
