**Position**: Pathology Service Assistant

**Location**: Toowoomba, QLD

**Employment Type**: Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Shifts are scheduled between 6:30 am and 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Participation in a Saturday morning roster (8:00 am to 2:00 pm) is also required on a rotating basis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Treat our patients with care and compassion
- Process collected pathology specimens and prepare them for testing
- The ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment
- Enter data into the laboratory information system
- Answer telephones
- Use a computer aided dispatch system to organise urgent sample collection

**What we are looking for**:
Within this varied position, the successful applicant will provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Laboratory/data entry experience would be highly regarded.
