Job Title: Speech Pathology Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled speech pathologist to work with children and adults in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality services and be committed to making a positive impact.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective therapy plans for clients aged 0-18 years, with opportunities to work with adults or specific age groups
- Deliver sessions in diverse environments, including homes, schools, kindergartens, daycares, and clinics
- Foster professional relationships with stakeholders, referral networks, families, and educators through excellent communication skills
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation and reporting for NDIS, Medicare, and Private paying clients
- Participate in community events, such as group therapy, information, and educational seminars, and presentations at kindergartens and playgroups
- Hold a Bachelor of Speech Pathology degree from a recognized institution and be a current member of Speech Pathology Australia
- Be registered with the relevant state-based registering authority (e.g. AHPRA)
- Possess a Blue Card and professional indemnity insurance
- Hold a valid driver's license (a car will be provided for work purposes)
- Have experience or a desire to learn about orofacial myology, feeding, and speech sound disorders
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with the team
