**About the Role**

This senior leadership role has a second line accountability which will see you responsible for developing, leading and driving the implementation of our Technology risk and business resilience risk management frameworks, whilst aligning to the strategic direction and growth of BOQ Group. This role also holds primary accountability to ensure that technology risk and business continuity frameworks are effective and fit-for-purpose for the organisation, whilst partnering with our 2ndline to ensure those responsibilities are met under the framework. You'll partner and work alongside our fabulous Group IT teams to ensure Technology Risk is managed effectively and in line with our Operational Risk Management Frameworks and associated policies. Working with team directly and indirectly, you will be paramount in driving a strong, proactive risk culture in parallel to a clear understanding of the risk frameworks to ensure we are aligned to our overarching key strategic pillars.

**About you**
As an experienced Risk Leader, you'll join us with extensive exposure to technology risk within the banking and financial services landscape. Yip - you live and breathe all things risk and technology and join us with a passion, and experience of, elevating the maturity of a risk culture within a business. You come armed with a wealth of technological knowledge, and know how to implement frameworks, partnering with line 1 risk teams for successful uptake.

We operate in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment so we are seeking a highly strategic thinker who can problem-solve on the fly. Collaboration and partnership comes naturally to you, where you aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, participating and promoting cooperative working relationships across the organisation.

As a senior people leader, you are a natural born people-person with a strong ability to lead, coordinate and communicate teams who integrate programs and projects from the ground up, taking accountability for their overall success. Other skills and experience we are ideally seeking include:

- Practical knowledge of Cyber Security, Cloud security, IT data network security and general IT infrastructure and software security.
- Solid understanding of major technologies used in Cyber Security including cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of technology trends.
- Extensive experience of Information Security and Cyber security leadership, ideally within a bank.
