Located in the beachfront suburb of Swanbourne our childcare centre offers care for children aged 0-6 years of age. With a capacity for 47 children, our childcare centre prides themselves of the relationships they form with children, parents, the local community, and Australian Defence Force families.

**What you will do**:
As a 2IC you will be a team player who is willing to help support the service, children and other employees as needed. You will support the director to work in accordance with OTCS Strategic Plan and contribute to the development and monitoring of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) while actively create partnerships with families, reporting staff and the community.

**Other duties include**:

- In consultation with the director and service staff, design, implement and evaluate programs for children in accordance with OTCS requirements.
- Ensure the service areas you are responsible for operate in line with the NQS and OTCS requirements.
- Collaborate with the director and educational leader to design, implement and evaluate quality, child focused programs for children which adhere to OTCS philosophy, code of ethics, policies, the NQS and frameworks.
- Engage in reflective practice and support facilitate staff in reflective practice
- Assist educators across the service in developing and implementing effective routines and learning experiences
- Ensure a continuity of learning is occurring across all rooms.
