Your role:
We are seeking a highly skilled 2IC/Senior Receptionist for our medical practice in Hammond Park Family Practice. Our Clinic is a Mixed Billing Clinic. This is a fulltime position/Part time position
Our Clinic is open currently 7 days a week
**Duties**
The Second in Charge is responsible for supporting the Practice Manager in the day to day operations of the Medical Centre.
In instances where the Practice Manager is absent from the Centre, the Second in Charge is responsible for ensuring the continued efficient staff management, administration and customer service
**Skills & experience**
- Previous general medical practice service and experience
- Ability to assist in the day to day management, direction and operation of the reception desk
- Excellent communication skills including being an escalation point for Health Professionals and patient complaints
- Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to assist PM with the management of the financial performance of the centre
- Staff Rostering
- Staff and GP Pay's
Desirable skills:
- Experience with Best Practice software
- Excel
- Recent CPR/First Aid Certificate
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Expected hours: 10 - 48 per week
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
