Job Title:
Master Mariner Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe and efficient operation of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard.
Supervising all Engineering Officers while adhering to company procedures.
Assisting the Chief Officer in the operation of the ship's cargo equipment.
Keeping the Chief Officer advised of any bunker, lubricating oils or sludge transfers which may affect the ship's trim, stress and/or stability.
Requirements:
As per AMSA Marine Order 72 - Engineer Class 1 (required).
AMSA Chief Engineer (Class 1) CoC/CoR Unlimited (required).
Minimum 12 months sea time as a First Engineer (required).
Certificate of Safety Training (STCW III/2) (desirable).
Work Safely at Heights Certification (desirable).
Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification (desirable).
Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights.
Living in Australia.
