**Responsibilities**
- Set up service for customers, installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment
- Travel to customers' premises to install, maintain, or repair equipment
- Splice cables, using hand tools, epoxy, or mechanical equipment
- Access specific areas using ladders and entering crawl spaces
- String cables between structures and lines from poles, towers, or trenches, and pull lines to proper tension
- Lay underground cable directly in trenches, or string it through conduits running through trenches
- Pull cable through ducts by hand.

**About you**
You will play a vital role in supporting the team to deliver exceptional solutions to our clients, with the ability to efficiently complete onsite jobs. You will be able to manage and organise tasks as required under pressure, including:

- Excellent written and verbal English skills are mandatory, as you will be required to speak with many clients and customers, complete job site paperwork, and attend health and safety orientation for new job sites
- Experience in hand and power tools
- Construction Industry OHS Card
- A confident approach to working at heights and in roof spaces
- Valid Driver Licence (with own vehicle)
- National Police Check
- Currently undertaking or willing to complete Certificate III as a Telecommunications Linesman
- Hardworking, accountable and punctual
- Ability to work in a team and/or autonomously
- Willing to complete other tasks from time to time
- Telecommunications, data, electrical or cabling experience (desirable)
- ACMA licence / Open cabling registration (desirable)
- Fault finding and rectification (desirable).
