We're seeking an experienced
Training Developer
to design, develop, and maintain high-quality training content for a suite of complex and evolving information systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, Agile environment and enjoys working collaboratively with technical teams to create user-focused learning experiences.
You'll be responsible for producing engaging training content for operators, maintainers, and managers, as well as developing a governance framework that ensures all training remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with ongoing product development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain training materials across multiple systems and user groups
Align training delivery with system release cycles using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Collaborate with engineers, developers, and technical writers to translate technical content into accessible training
Establish and manage a governance framework for training lifecycle management
Produce content to CMI5 or other relevant eLearning standards
Engage with external training bodies to ensure broader training alignment
What We're Looking For:
Cert IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent experience)
Diploma or higher in ICT or related discipline
Proven experience in technical training development within VET or complex environments
Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify technical concepts
Must hold an NV1 security clearance (Australian citizen)
Desirable Skills:
Experience with CMI5 content development
Exposure to Jira, change management, or systems engineering
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles or sustainment organisations
