At OSHC, children have the opportunity to participate in cooking, sport, music, art, dance and so much more.The Y Queensland's childcare services has been at the heart of Australian communities for more than 40 years, with our first early learning service opening in Brisbane in 1977 after we identified the need for childcare that focused on helping children grow in body, mind and spirit.We are currently recruiting for OSHC Educators on a casual basis to join our YMCA Miami Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.About The ServiceYMCA Miami Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service provides fun, stimulating and safe care for children for before school, after school and vacation care.
The service offers a range of indoor and outdoor activities including football, cheerleading, netball, tennis, basketball, art classes, music lessons, swimming, skateboarding lessons and more.Our service philosophy prioritises community and belonging, children's agency and the importance of spontaneous, multi-age play in middle childhood.
We offer a range of planned and spontaneous play experiences for children and welcome educators with unique skill sets to share with children.The YMCA is the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East with over 50+ services, which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.About The RoleAs an OSHC Educator you are responsible for the care of children before school, after school and during school holiday periods.
You'll assist in running fascinating, fun-filled and educational activities with primary school children, such as science experiments, outdoor games, painting and musical activities.What will my time look like?

You are currently studying or completed a Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor degree in the field of children's services or similarYou have a fantastic sense of fun and a tremendous imaginationYou hold or be willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR certificationYou hold a Positive Notice Blue Card or be willing to obtain oneWhat's in it for you?
