Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, this role is responsible for the day to day leadership of our facility in producing and distributing our quality fibreglass swimming pools across Queensland, Northern NSW and to export customers.
Your proven manufacturing experience, attention to detail and strong leadership skills will demonstrate your ability to deliver the world's best pools and bring our client's dreams to life.Your day will involve:Delivering a safety-first cultureManaging the facility team and their activitiesRecruiting and onboarding new employeesMaintaining the quality, effectiveness and efficiency through investigation, analysis and problem solving across the facilityPartnering with the facility manager and national managers to implement safety, quality & cost initiatives across the facilityBuilding relationships with our franchisees to manage pool deliveriesMaintaining high levels of quality in the pools we supplyWorking with the Inventory team to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the site has the resources to produce poolsWork with national team and site team members to develop & implement standardised processesManage successful implementation of improvement projects which could span Safety, Process, Quality, People, CostWork with the site supervisors and team members to foster a high performing culture, providing coaching and feedback on a daily basisAbout you;5 years' experience in team leadership and managementExperience in a manufacturing environmentExcellent communication and delegation skillsPersonal effectiveness/interaction – Self manages and demonstrates diplomacy when dealing with difficult people or colleagues from diverse culturesProblem solving skills, demonstrates the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a sense of urgencyCoping and time management skills – ability to manage high workload under pressure and time constraintsComputer literacy – Microsoft Office Suite, and a knowledge Manufacturing Systems Have strong experience with transport and logistics with a successful track record of meeting distribution targetsHave a proven track record of hiring, training and developing a team to deliver resultsExperience in fibreglass and lean manufacturing is preferred but not essentialIn return you can expect;A commitment to your personal and professional developmentA dynamic work environment where initiative is celebratedBe part of a values-based culture, where we walk the talkBe part of a disciplined team who work hard and celebrate successPlease note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
