This is an exciting opportunity to join **Tweed Valley Hospital**, your primary work location and a new, major referral hospital at the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed-Byron region, also including **Murwillumbah District** & **Byron Central** Hospitals. The 723.3 million state-of-the-art hospital opened on 14 May 2024 and will deliver additional health services and bed capacity to meet the growing community's healthcare needs.

Tweed Valley Hospital has:

- currently 280 beds with capability to expand to 430 beds
- expansive outpatient facilities with opportunity to increase available clinics
- a developing interventional cardiology service
- a fully capable emergency department with 42 treatment spaces
- an integrated cancer care service with radiotherapy
- 12 operating theatres
- a dedicated Learning, Development & Research centre located on campus, with modern library facilities
- End of trip facilities (showers etc) and free staff parking
