**About the role**:
The Facilities Technician will take a hands-on, proactive approach to in-house repairs and maintenance. You will use your knowledge of industry standards, product warranties, and general construction to assess and communicate valid maintenance requests.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with building residents and on-site teams to maintain a high level of service.
- Create an inclusive and accessible living space in the Specialist Disability Accommodations.
- Address any risks, safety or security issues while managing mitigation efforts.
- Oversee service contracts and contractors.
- Routine maintenance tasks.
- Provide reports with accurate records of property maintenance, inspections, and documentation.
- Identify cost-effective solutions for property maintenance and improvements.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of property maintenance.
- Experience in undertaking projects and coordinating trades people.
- Current driving licence with your own vehicle
- Excellent organisational skills with multitasking abilities
- Excellent time management to work within tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Commercial and Residential property leasing transaction (desirable)
