Busy Bees at Port Kennedy is a 86-place service that welcomes you with beautifully designed rooms, plenty of natural resources and exciting learning opportunities team of qualified educators and teaching practitioners. Our Port Kennedy preschool is conveniently located on Helmshore Way in Port Kennedy, situated close to shops and just a 5 minute drive from the Port Kennedy foreshore.
Our service is looking for a dynamic, confident leader in the Early Childhood Industry to join our management team. Someone who is looking to showcase your leadership skills and knowledge of the Early Childhood Industry. Our Educational Leader will be working collaboratively with the Service management to help their service reach the heights of success. - A chance to connect with and build a support network with leaders in the Early Childhood Industry across the nation Essential Qualifications- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent as recognized by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
Essential Skills and Attributes- A comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard to ensure best practices.- Ability to guide, mentor and support a team of educators, fostering a culture of professional reflection and continuous improvement.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with educators, families and external agencies.- Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating high-quality educational programs.- Demonstrated capacity to reflect on practices, seek feedback and engage in ongoing professional learning.- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with families, children, colleagues and the broader community.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge- Proven track record as an effective leader or mentor in an early childhood settings.- Ensuring all children have equitable access to learning opportunities, catering to diverse needs.- Understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.- Participation in ongoing training and professional development to remain updated with sector changes.- Capability to use relevant software and technology for documentation, communication and planning.
