We are actively seeking for a skilled
**Software Team Lead** with
**strong C++ object oriented programming experience** to lead a team assigned to a new exciting project within Defence.

We are looking for an individual who possesses strategic thinking, technical expertise, an understanding of architecture, and the ability to inspire and bring out the best in team members. This position will involve leading a highly-capable software engineering team of 6-10 individuals in an Agile environment while actively participating in C++ code development.

Experience & skills required:

- **Mandatory** - Holding an active NV1 clearance
- **Mandatory **- Strong programming experience with C++ OO programming across the entire SDLC
- Effective communication/stakeholder and people management skills
- Ability to train and mentor fellow Engineers
- Degree in software engineering, computer science, computer systems engineering, or related discipline
